Nebraska baseball walks-off the Wildcats at Haymarket Park

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska took down Kansas State on Tuesday night, 7-6 at Haymarket Park.

The Huskers went up 3-0 after the first inning.
The Wildcats fought back, however, scoring 6 runs between the third and sixth innings.
Big Red found a way late in the ninth inning once again. Rhett Stokes had the magic swing to walk off the Wildcats.

With the win, Nebraska claims the series over Kansas State this season, two games to one.
Lincoln East alum Jeter Worthley finished the night a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate.
Next up for Nebraska is a road series with Ohio State starting this Friday.
