LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska baseball saw its season come to a close on Sunday.

The Huskers fell to both Ole Miss (6-3) and Arizona State (11-8) on Sunday, eliminating them from the NCAA Tournament.

Nebraska’s game against the Rebels started in the 9th inning after it was delayed from weather late Saturday night. The Huskers managed to get the tying run at the plate twice, but were unable to mount a comeback.

Nebraska also had a late rally against the Sun Devils on Sunday, but came one hit away again.

The Huskers conclude the 2026 campaign with a 43-17 overall record and the 20th regional appearance in program history, and first since 2008. The 43 wins are the most since the Big Red went 57-15 in 2005.

Ole Miss went onto win the Lincoln Regional with a walk-off win over Arizona State late on Sunday.
