Nebraska basketball’s Derrick Walker earns second-team All-Big Ten honors

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska senior forward Derrick Walker got postseason honors from the Big Ten on Tuesday.
The Missouri native earned second-team All-Big Ten honors, joining Northwestern’s Boo Buie and Michigan State’s Tyson Walker.
In his final season at Nebraska, Walker averaged 13.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
Mr. Consistency.

Walker wasn’t the only Husker to get postseason honors, as Keisei Tominaga earned an honorable mention All-Big Ten honor.
Senior guard Sam Griesel also won a Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.
The Huskers are set to face Minnesota in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament on Wednesday.
Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m., and the game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
