Nebraska chapter of Red Cross helping Californians after flooding

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraskans are helping Californians after devastating floods left at least a dozen dead.

The American Red Cross of Nebraska and Southwest Iowa recently sent several volunteers to the West to assist in cleanup efforts and help in any way they can.

The nonprofit said it is working around the clock to support those affected.

The flooding has caused landslides and washed away roads.
