Nebraska coordinators Dana Holgorsen, Rob Aurich hold weekly press conference previewing Week 7 at Oregon

LINCOLN, Neb (KLKN) – Following Nebraska’s Week 6 20-17 loss to then No. 7 Indiana — and ahead of Week 7 at Oregon — offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen, defensive coordinator Rob Aurich and players took to the podium on Tuesday at the Hawks Championship Center.

“(Oregon has) a lot of guys back from last year,” Holgorsen said. “That front four is as good of a front four as I’ve ever seen. Active. Athletic. They were put in a lot of bad situations last week (in the 17-15 loss at home to UCLA) and responded. You get that many turnovers and you hold your opponent to 17 points is saying you’re playing really, really good defense.”

“They want to get their playmakers involved,” Aurich said. “That’s a priority for them, I understand that. But (all three Oregon QBs) do it a little bit differently. So as we navigate each quarterback, I don’t know if it’s necessarily adding this plan . . . but we pull from what best matchups from what we like in the plan that can solve their core stuff.”

Nebraska (5-1) takes on Oregon (3-2) Saturday night at 10 p.m. and the game will be televised on FOX.
