Nebraska falls 5-1 to No. 1 Arkansas in regional game

FAYETTEVILLE, AR. (KLKN) – The Huskers couldn’t string their offense together as the nation-leading Razorbacks advance to the regional finals beating Nebraska 5-1.

Chance Hroch started on the mound for the Huskers but gave up a leadoff home run in the first inning as Arkansas led early. Hroch struggled in the second giving up an earned run off a base hit and another from a sacrifice fly to give the Hogs a 3-0 lead after two innings of play.

The Big Red only had one hit until the sixth when Joe Acker led off the inning with a base hit. Then with two outs, Luke Roskam scored the Husker’s lone run with an RBI single to left.

Nebraska will play NJIT tomorrow at 2 p.m.
