Nebraska kids relocated after mother arrested on drug, child abuse charges

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Nebraska woman is accused of drug possession and child abuse.
Deputies with the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Mariah Meyer of Hoskins on Tuesday.
Meyer was the subject of a child welfare investigation at a rural home, according to Sheriff Mike Unger.
He said that deputies found methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia at her home and that her children had been around the drugs.
She was jailed on drug possession and child abuse charges. Meyer’s bond was set at $20,000.
The children were placed with relatives by the Department of Health and Human Services.
Hoskins is a village about 8 miles northeast of Norfolk.
