Nebraska lays out plan to speed concession lines at Pinnacle Bank Arena

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska Athletic Director Trev Alberts detailed how the university is addressing long concession lines at Husker basketball games.

On Monday, Alberts said several steps have been taken to get hot dogs into the hands of Husker fans more efficiently at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Those steps include opening additional stands, hiring additional staff and reducing the age of workers selling non-alcoholic products from 19 to 16.

Nebraska is also going to provide more locations that will sell beer and mixed drinks.

Alberts said that the changes will take time and that the university expects to see gradual improvement as the season progresses.

But Nebraska is hoping to see some improvement during the men’s game on Tuesday.
