Nebraska race team honors Cpl. Daegan Page

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The First Responders Foundation Race Team is honoring Cpl. Daegan Page by adding a photo of him to its fleet of race cars.

One of the vehicles was unveiled Friday at the FRF Health & Wellness Center in Omaha.

Members of Page’s family joined FRF Race Team captain Jim Cahill and Army National Guard Melissa Latture for the unveiling.

Cahill and Latture had reached out to the Page family and wanted to do something to honor Page, according to a Facebook post.

“The family’s desire is to keep Daegan’s memory alive. They are very appreciative of all of the support they have received from the community,” the Facebook post reads.

The foundation is holding an event at the I-80 Speedway in Greenwood on July 1.  The Page family will be in attendance and will take part in a tribute lap at the event.
