Nebraska softball splits doubleheader against Iowa

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska softball lost game one and won game two Tuesday on the road against Iowa.
The Huskers hit four home runs in game two, including two from junior Abbie Squier, in the 9-3 win.
Nebraska’s four homers tied for the most in a game this season. The Huskers also hit four against No. 16 Arizona on March 4.
Sisters Billie Andrews and Brooke Andrews each added solo home runs.
Pitcher Courtney Wallace advanced to 15-6 on the season after pitching the final four innings, holding Iowa to just two hits.
The Huskers return to action this weekend for a three-game series against Michigan at Bowlin Stadium.
