Nebraska softball to play doubleheader against UNO, one-day tourney in Kansas
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska softball made some changes to its schedule this week, the university announced Tuesday.
Instead of playing one game against UNO on Wednesday, the Huskers will now face the Mavericks in a doubleheader.
And due to the forecasted weather this weekend in Lawrence, Kansas, the Rock Chalk Challenge was altered to be a one-day tournament on Sunday.
The Huskers were originally scheduled to play games on Friday and Saturday in the tournament, according to the press release.
Nebraska softball’s updated schedule:
Wednesday, March 15 (Omaha)
Nebraska at UNO – 4 p.m.
Nebraska at UNO – 6 p.m.Sunday, March 19 (Lawrence, Kansas)
Nebraska vs. Kansas City – 11 a.m.
Nebraska at Kansas – 1:30 p.m.
All four games will be broadcast on the Huskers Radio Network and Huskers.com.
Nebraska baseball’s schedule was also changed, with its weekend series against Nicholls being moved to Manhattan, Kansas.
