Nebraska State Patrol seizes more than 100 lbs of marijuana

The Nebraska State Patrol seized 101 lbs of marijuana near Grand Island, Monday–estimated street value more than $300,000.

Troopers arrested a woman after a traffic stop a little before noon.

A trooper saw the woman, who was driving a 2018 Chevy Tahoe, failing to stay in its lane and following too closely on I-80.

During the stop the trooper became suspicious of criminal activity.

A search of the vehicle, revealed three large duffel bags of marijuana, in the cargo area of the vehicle.

32-year-old Princess Smith of North Carolina was then taken into custody for possession of marijuana–with intent to deliver and no drug stamp.

She was lodged in Hall County Jail.
