Nebraska sweeps Campbell in first round
Lauren Stivrins led the Huskers with nine kills and a first-round win against Campbell at the Devaney on Friday night.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – No. 10 Nebraska swept Campbell in three sets in the first round of the NCAA Volleyball Tournament on Friday night at the Devaney (25-14, 25-14, 25-17).
Senior Lauren Stivrins led the Huskers with nine kills and a .492 hitting percentage. Kayla Caffey and Madi Kubik recorded seven kills each while Nicklin Hames served three aces. Lexi Rodriguez also broke the freshman dig record with 445 with her 3rd dig on the night. The record was previously held by Kenzie Knuckles from 2019.
Nebraska advances to play Florida State Saturday night at 7 p.m. at the Devaney. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN+.
