LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The state will once again offer the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, announces the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).

BACKGROUND: BREAKING: CDC, FDA call for immediate halt on Johnson & Johnson vaccine

DHHS says the state is following the CDC and FDA’s Friday recommendation to lift the pause and begin administering the vaccine. Officials say Nebraska suppliers who currently have a supply of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine should resume using those doses.

Nebraska Johnson & Johnson doses have been paused since April 13th.
