Lincoln, NEB.- Nebraska football earned their second win of the season Saturday defeating Buffalo 28-3. However penalties and special teams prevented the Huskers from stretching their lead even further.  Nebraska was penalized nine times for 171 yards with three of the flags negating touchdown plays. Connor Culp, the only All-Conference player of the Scott Frost era, missed three field goals from 32, 42 and 34 yards. On the bright side, the Husker defense played well in the victory. Despite losing the time of possession by four minutes, Nebraska kept the Bulls out of the end zone and surrendered a lone field goal to Buffalo in the third quarter.
