Nebraska volleyball earns No. 10 seed in NCAA Tournament

The Huskers will play Campbell in the first round and the winner of Florida State and Kansas State in the second round.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska Cornhusker volleyball team earned the No. 10 overall seed in the NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Tournament.

The Huskers will make their 40th appearance in the tournament and will play Campbell in the first round.

If they advance, they will play the winner of Florida State and Kansas Statee in the second round.

The tournament bracket was announced on Sunday night.

Husker players and coaches watched the NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Tournament Selection Show privately in their locker room.

The Huskers finished the regular season with a record of 21-7. They finished second in the Big Ten, meaning that they did not automatically qualify, but an at-large bid was a formality, as the team finished the regular season ranked 11th in the country.
