Chuck Love announced his resignation three months after being suspended with pay

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – After being suspended with pay in February, Nebraska women’s basketball associate head coach Chuck Love announced his resignation on Friday.

“I have come to the decision to move on and be with family and explore other opportunities,” said Love. “I will never forget how amazing this fan base has been.”

In a statement shortly after Love’s suspension, head coach Amy Williams said,  “It’s been a challenging few days, but for our team to really come together and just stay together and persevere and go out there and really compete and have a tough fought win today, I couldn’t be more proud of our team.”

Nebraska Women’s Basketball, Nebraska Athletics, or Williams have not made a statement since the announcement of his resignation.
