Nebraska Women’s Basketball player removed from team roster

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) –A starter for the Nebraska Women’s Basketball team is no longer on the team roster.

Ashley Scoggin, the teams top three-point shooter can not be found on the teams website as of Saturday. She did not play with the team on Thursday when the Huskers played Penn State. Scoggin, who was a redshirt sophomore, came to Nebraska from Salt Lake City CC.

She earned spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters of 2020-21. She was also a member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2021.
