City officials on Thursday announced four new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lincoln.

City officials on Thursday announced four new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lincoln.
The new cases bring the total to 466. Additional cases are expected to be announced Thursday afternoon.
Public Health Solutions announced the following case totals for its counties:
- 39 cases in Gage County
- 3 cases in Fillmore County
- 284 cases in Saline County
- 4 cases in Jefferson County
- 0 Cases in Thayer County
Investigations determined 139 cases have been linked to Smithfield Foods. That number includes employees only.
PHS also reported a man in his 80s with underlying health conditions died after being hospitalized for COVID-19. Health officials say the man was a resident of an assisted living facility in Gage County. His death is the fourth death within the district.
Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath, repeated shaking with chills, repeated muscle pain, headache, sore throat or new loss of taste or smell.
