New Mexico forward Josiah Allick, a Lincoln native, transfers to Nebraska
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Lincoln native is leaving the Land of Enchantment and returning home to the Huskers.
Josiah Allick, who spent last season at New Mexico, announced Tuesday that he would be transferring to Nebraska.

Allick is a North Star High School alum who averaged 15.3 points and 9.8 rebounds per game.
After high school, the 6-foot-8 forward played three seasons at Kansas City before transferring to New Mexico.
During his season there, Allick started in all 34 games and averaged 8.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
Allick will now come to Nebraska with one year of eligibility left.
In 2020, Channel 8’s Andrew Ward interviewed Allick during his sophomore season with the Kansas City Kangaroos.
Josiah’s sister, Bekka, is also a Husker. She is a sophomore on the volleyball team.
