NFL relaxes COVID-19 policy for vaccinated players and staff
NFL owners agreed to the new rules on Wednesday, along with The NFL Players association who signed off on the new policy.
NEW YORK (KLKN) — NFL COVID-19 protocols will be relaxed for players and staff that are fully vaccinated, according to a report by ESPN.
NFL owners agreed to the new rules on Wednesday, along with The NFL Players Association, who signed off on the new policy.
The agreement is also said be extra incentive for players and staff to become vaccinated prior to the opening of summer training camp.
“We know for a fact that that is the one step that everyone can take that makes them safer, not just for themselves but for their families and others that they may be in contact with,” NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said. “We’ll continue to provide whatever education that we can about vaccinations themselves with medical experts as well as others to try to help people make their personal decisions in the best possible way for their safety as well as the people around them.”
