Nine Nebraska baseball games to be televised in 2023 season

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska baseball fans might want to consider a Big Ten Plus subscription.

On Tuesday, the Huskers announced their TV schedule for the 2023 season, which includes only five nationally televised games.

Four games will be shown on Nebraska Public Media, according to a press release.

Games that are not televised will be shown on Big Ten Plus.  The Huskers Radio Network will also broadcast every game.

2023 Nebraska baseball TV schedule:

  • March 25 – Illinois, Nebraska Public Media at 2 p.m.
  • April 7 – Michigan, Big Ten Network at 3 p.m.
  • April 11 – UNO, Nebraska Public Media at 6 p.m.
  • April 15 – Northwestern, Nebraska Public Media at 2 p.m.
  • April 18 – Creighton, Big Ten Network at 7 p.m.
  • April 26 – South Dakota State, Nebraska Public Media at 6 p.m.
  • April 28 – Minnesota, Big Ten Network at 7 p.m.
  • May 13 – Penn State, Big Ten Network at 6 p.m.
  • May 14 – Penn State, ESPN2 at 11 a.m.

Nebraska opened up its season last weekend against San Diego, losing three of the four games.

In the fourth game, the Huskers’ pitching staff gave up 16 runs on only seven hits.  The game was called a tie in the seventh inning due to travel considerations.

Nebraska will now travel to Mobile to face South Alabama in a three-game series that begins on Friday.
