No. 3 Nebraska volleyball sweeps Rutgers

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Huskers racked up a season-high 12 aces on Friday night as they swept Rutgers in New Jersey.

Lexi Rodriguez and Kennedi Orr each had three aces in the 25-13, 25-7, 25-15 win. They also led in digs, with nine each.

No. 3 Nebraska hit .405, a season high, while holding the Scarlet Knights to -0.12.

Whitney Lauenstein led NU in kills, with 11, and Orr’s 17 assists were the most for Nebraska.

The Huskers will travel to Maryland for a match at noon Sunday.
