LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – After not finding the endzone through 45 minutes of play, No. 7 Indiana scored a pair of touchdowns in the fourth quarter to come from behind and hand Nebraska its first loss of the season 20-17 Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

Entering the final frame, Nebraska (5-1, 2-1 Big Ten) held a 10-6 lead. Then on its first drive of the quarter, the Huskers went 71 yards down the field, capped off with a 39-yard touchdown run from Anthony Colandrea, giving Big Red an 11-point advantage.

Then, on Indiana’s (6-0, 3-0 Big Ten) first play of its ensuing drive, Josh Hoover connected with Nick Marsh over the middle for a 75-yard touchdown, completely flipping the momentum.

Later in the fourth, Indiana would face a fourth-and-one from the Nebraska 44-yard line, and again Hoover connected with Marsh to give the Hoosiers a lead they’d never let up.

From there, Nebraska would get the ball back twice, but did not score on either possession.

Colandrea finished the day with 263 passing yards, 47 rushing yards and an interception. Nyziah Hunter scored the first touchdown of the game for Nebraska in the first quarter.

Additionally, Nebraska’s defense contained an efficient Indiana rushing attack, holding the Hoosiers to just 12 yards on the ground in the first half and 65 yards total.

Nebraska returns to action next Saturday at No. 13 Oregon, kickoff time and TV channel is to be determined.
