Nonprofit donates 10 protective vests to Nebraska State Patrol dogs

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska State Patrol’s 10 dogs got new protective vests thanks to a donation from a nonprofit.

Jerry, Amos, Chase, Ezra, Fahn, Gable, Havik, Lee, Malloy and Tilt were given the gear by Vested Interest in K9s Inc.

The nonprofit was established in 2009 and provides bullet and stab protective vests to law enforcement dogs throughout the United States.

The patrol said the nonprofit has provided over 4,970 vests to dogs in all 50 states.

Each of the dog’s vests was sponsored a donor, according to the patrol.
