Norfolk man arrested for over 200 images of child sexual abuse material
NORFOLK, Neb. (KLKN) — On Sept. 24, the Norfolk Police Division (NPD) arrested a man for possession of child sexual abuse material.
The investigation began on May 12, when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reported suspected child sexual abuse material shared through Kik Messenger.
The Nebraska Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Nebraska State Patrol and NPD identified the Kik account as belonging to Mike Llanes, 33, of Norfolk.
On June 17, a search warrant was executed at the Llanes’ residence. Multiple digital devices were obtained.
During an examination of the devices, more than 200 images of suspected child sexual abuse material were found.
Llanes was arrested and lodged for possession of child sexual abuse material.
