Northeast Lincoln vape shop burglarized three times in one month, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A vape shop in northeast Lincoln was burglarized for the third time in a month on Saturday, police say.

Around 4 a.m., officers were sent to The Highest Cloud near 48th and Fremont Streets after an alarm went off.

When officers arrived, police say the front glass door was shattered and several vape products were scattered on the floor.

In security video, three people are seen breaking the front door’s glass and entering the store.

Once inside, the thieves took vape products from the shelves before leaving the store.

Police estimate that the building had around $1,050 in damage.  Employees are working to determine how much merchandise was stolen.

On March 2, thieves used a steel fence post to break into the vape shop.  The two thieves stole about $100 worth of vape products and caused $500 in damage to the building.

And on Feb. 11, two people broke into the store and took about $500 worth of merchandise and caused about $550 in damage, according to police.
