LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A California man is behind bars after state troopers reportedly found more than 260 pounds of marijuana in his vehicle.

The Nebraska State Patrol says the drugs were found Wednesday morning during a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Dawson County.

NSP says 262 pounds of marijuana were found in large boxes in the cargo area of a Ford Transit Van.

The driver, David Hernandez Fuentes, 24, of Ceres, California, was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and no drug tax stamp.
