NSP arrests Orleans man for selling THC products to juveniles

LEXINGTON, Neb. (KLKN) – NSP arrested a 22-year-old man after investigators discovered he was selling THC and Nicotine vape products to juveniles.

NSP’s investigation began earlier this month when they received reports of juveniles buying THC and Nicotine vape products from a person they had connected with through social media.

Investigators identified the man as 22-year-old Hector Lugo of Orleans, Neb., then served a warrant at his residence.

According to NSP, Investigators found THC vape cartridges, more than six pounds of THC edibles, a large machete, drug paraphernalia and apparent drug money.

After searching Lugo’s residence, NSP issued a warrant for his arrest.

NSP arrested Lugo on Tuesday for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person and possession of money during a drug violation.

NSP worked with CODE Task Force, Lexington Police Department and Dawson County Sheriff’s Office during the investigation.
