NSP makes an unusual special delivery after routine traffic stop

LINCOLN, Neb (KLKN) –Nebraska State Patrol received a special thank you note from a twitter user for service that went above and beyond traditional patrol work after making a routine traffic stop. Troopers Dusatko and Sporer discovered the driver had a revoked license, they then decided to help with the driver’s workload.

The driver was delivering food to customers via DoorDash when stopped, Trooper Sporer stayed on scene to manage processing the driver, and Trooper Dusatko got to work delivering two food orders to homes in Gering.

A recipient of the trooper delivered DoorDash order said, “I would just love to reach out to the state trooper who went above and beyond service tonight after a traffic stop and delivered my DoorDash order to me. You’re truly an amazing person and I appreciate your service so much.”
