NSP: Missouri man arrested following road rage incident

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KLKN) — A Missouri man was arrested by the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) for pointing a firearm at another driver during a road rage incident.

It happened around 4:20 Wednesday afternoon on I-80 near North Platte.

The suspect, identified as 34-year-old Avery Rogers of Missouri, was driving eastbound when he reportedly pointing a gun at another driver. Officials have not said what may have triggered the road rage incident.

After Rogers was taken into custody, NSP found two handguns inside of his vehicle.

Rogers was arrested for making terroristic threats and use of a firearm to commit a felony.
