NSP responds to home invasion, suspect and victims still inside

OMAHA, Neb. (KLKN) — Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) halt a home invasion in progress.

The incident took place around 7:30 a.m Thursday in Greenwood.

When NSP arrived on the scene, they contacted the homeowners through an open window who said the suspect was still inside.

The suspect, later identified as 30-year-old James Wagner of Belden, was found in the basement of the home.

Wagner initially refused to comply but was soon placed into custody without further incident.
