LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Authorities say road conditions are deteriorating across Nebraska.

The Nebraska State Patrol said conditions are starting to worsen in many areas.

Troopers are reporting slick spots and decreased visibility on Interstate 80 between Lincoln and Omaha.

The patrol is urging drives to slow down, use headlights and turn off cruise control.

A state map showed many roads in the Lincoln area were at least partially ice or snow covered as of noon Friday.
