Omaha man sentenced for producing 90,000 images depicting child pornography

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – An Omaha man has been sentenced to 140 months of imprisonment for the production and receipt of child pornography.

District Judge Robert F. Rossiter, Jr. sentenced 33-year-old Kevin Jacoway on Friday, Feb. 4.

The FBI Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force began an investigation into the file-sharing of child pornography from an Omaha residence in August of 2020.

Investigators used the IP address to find the residence.

In December 2020, investigators served a search warrant at Jacoway’s and co-defendant Timothy Fox’s residence.

Investigators seized Jacoway’s electronic devices, which contained 90,000 images and 1,000 videos depicting child pornography.

Along with the prison sentence, Judge Rossiter, Jr. sentenced Jacoway to 15 years of supervised release.  Jacoway will also need to register as a sex offender.
