Omaha man sentenced to over 10 years in prison for sex trafficking a minor

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was sentenced to over 10 years in federal prison on Wednesday after sex trafficking a minor.
Lance Harper, 31, of Omaha was given a sentence of 135 months’ imprisonment and five years of supervised release after his sentence. There is no parole in the federal system.
An investigation was opened in September 2020 after two foster children in Omaha went missing.
Investigators found that Harper transported one of the minors to Norfolk, where the minor had sex with an adult male for money.
Harper received some of the money.
He will be required to register as a sex offender.
