Omaha Police Department investigates two-victim shooting

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Omaha Police officers responded Friday to a call to Creighton University Medical Center for two gunshot victims.

The call came in just before midnight.

Officers said both victims were relatively uncooperative when being questioned but did confirm that they had been shot prior to driving to the hospital.

Police said the car found at the CUMC drive-up entrance had several visible bullet holes.

One victim, 19-year-old Badeang Biel, was shot in the left arm.

The second victim, a male under 18, was shot in the right foot. Officers did not release his name.

Both were transferred to Bergan Mercy.

Officers said they recovered several shell casings near Florence Boulevard and Lake Street.

Anonymous tips leading to an arrest in the shooting could receive an award of up to $10,000.
