Omaha Police make arrest in suspicious death investigation

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Omaha Police announced the arrest of a 24-year-old man after a woman died in February.

The Omaha Police Department said officers arrested Miguelangel Bringshimback on Friday in connection to the suspicious death.

Bringshimback is accused of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.

On Feb. 17, police said a woman, 23-year-old Milagros Lopez, was found down in an alley near 23rd Street.

CPR was given to the woman, but she later died at a local hospital.

Omaha Police investigated the incident as a suspicious death.
