Omaha woman arrested in cutting incident

OMAHA, Neb. (KLKN) –Omaha Police Department responded to a cutting around 10:38 AM Sunday.

Officers arrived at 55th and Ames Avenue to find 46-year-old Gaylen Montgomery inside the home after being cut.

A witness told officers a female went inside the home. The suspect, 41-year-old Ordella Pappan was still inside the property when police arrived.

OPD booked Pappan at Douglas County Corrections for domestic violence felony assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

Officers said Mongomery’s injury was not life threatening.
