Omaha woman to face trial, after allegedly allowing 13-year-old to be sexually assaulted
An Omaha woman accused of allowing a 13-year-old girl to be sexually assaulted will now stand trial on sex trafficking and child abuse charges.
A judge on Tuesday, July 16th, found there was enough evidence to for prosecutor to try 21-year-old Britnee Gossett.
Police say the girl had been staying with Gossett earlier this year and that Gossett took the girl with her to meet men for sex.
The girl told police that she was sexually assaulted in two of the encounters.
No trial date has been set.
An Omaha investigator said in court Tuesday that one man has been identified as a suspect in the young girl’s assault.
