Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo to host first Holiday Market

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is hosting its first-ever holiday Market this Saturday.

The market will be held inside the Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Pavilion from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Early access for Black Friday membership deals will also be available onsite.

Access to the market is free to zoo members or visitors with paid regular zoo admission.

Visitors will be able to shop handmade sustainable gifts from 15 local artists and makers.

The zoo will once again be offering a Black Friday membership sale from 12 p.m. on Nov. 23 to 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 30.

A 20% discount will be provided to shoppers who purchase or renew a Zoo Household or Grandparent Membership in combination with a Lee. G. Simmons Wildlife Safari Park Membership.

Renewing a membership will add 12 months of zoo fun to the current membership.

A special coupon code must be used online to receive the discounted price during the sale.

The coupon code will be released on Nov. 23, at 12 p.m. Memberships can be purchased on the Zoo’s website any time or at Guest Services during business hours.

There will also be a Black Friday sale offering 25% off merchandise in the Zoo’s Gift Shop on Nov. 25.  The sale does not include books, animal paintings, calendars and gift cards.

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day this year.

Zoo hours are currently 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every other day of the week.  Weather permitting, the park will be open Saturdays and Sundays in November from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
