‘On the one yard line’: President Trump talks with Big Ten Commissioner

LINCOLN, Neb. (KlKN) — Around 10:15 Tuesday morning, President Donald Trump tweeted that he had a “very productive conversation” with Big Ten Commissioner Kevin Warren.

President Trump expressed interest in “immediately starting up Big Ten football,” despite the current postponement of the fall season.

It’s been reported that Big Ten officials have been discussing all possibilities concerning the fall sports season, especially following substantial lawsuits filed by players and parents. Whether they will choose to change or amend the current decision to delay the fall season is still uncertain.

Had a very productive conversation with Kevin Warren, Commissioner of the Big Ten Conference, about immediately starting up Big Ten football. Would be good (great!) for everyone – Players, Fans, Country. On the one yard line!
