One injured in crash near downtown Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — One person was injured in a crash that shut down part of 10th Street on Thursday night.
Shortly after 6 p.m., a car and a Servpro truck collided at the intersection of 10th and A Streets.
Witnesses said the car was going west on A when it ran a red light, according to the Lincoln Police Department.
First responders used the Jaws of Life to get the driver out of the car.
Lincoln Fire & Rescue told Channel 8’s Anthony D’Agostino that the driver was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Five other people were involved in the crash but were not injured, LFR said.
