One ton of grass seed burned, $162K in damages

LANCASTER, Neb. (KLKN) — Around 1:30 a.m. Friday, 162,000 dollars in damage was caused by a trailer fire.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office (LSO) responded to 112th and Holdrege Streets to find one ton of grass seed burning in a 26-foot-trailer behind parked behind a pickup truck. About 18,000 dollars of Kentucky Blue Grass was lost.
The State Fire Marshal Office is currently investigating the incident, but at this time it does not appear to be suspicious.
