LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Over 190,000 Home Depot ceiling fans are being recalled after reports that the blades were falling off while spinning, hitting people, and causing property damage.

Between April and October of this year, Home Depot sold the Hampton Bay Mara indoor and outdoor ceiling fans in stores and online. In the US, they sold around 182,000, and in Canada, they sold 8,800. They cost around $150.

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission says owners of the fans should immediately stop using them.

King of Fans, the creator of the fans, says they will replace any of the faulty fans for free.
