Over 2.5K experienced power outages Monday morning

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Multiple areas are experiencing power outages in central and southeast Lincoln between the times of 9:00 and 9:30 a.m.

Originally, about 2,600 Lincoln Electric System (LES) customers reported losing power.

By about 10:30 a.m., only 350 customers did not have their power restored. The areas are as follows:

  • Sumner to South Street and 26th to 27 Street, with 99 customers effected
  • Dudley to Orchard Streets and N. 29th to N. 33rd Street, with 82 customers effected
  • Holdrege to E. Avon Street and Carlos to N. 79th Street, with 66 customers effected
  • Pine Lake Rd to Travis Street and 70th to 75th Street, with 56 customers effected
  • W. Broadview to Steinway Street and Jeffrey Dr. to Skyway Street, with 47 customers effected

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Multiple areas are experiencing power outages in central and southeast Lincoln between the times of 9:00 and 9:30 a.m.

According to Lincoln Electric System’s (LES) Outage Map,  a total of about 2,600 customers have lost power. Two of the largest areas being 33rd to 52nd Street and Walker to Vine Street, with 1,165 outages reported, along with N. 45th to N. 70th Street and Baldwin to Platte Ave, with 1,123.

Other areas include:

  • Sumner to South Street and 26th to 27 Street, with 99 customers effected
  • Dudley to Orchard Streets and N. 29th to N. 33rd Street, with 82 customers effected
  • Holdrege to E. Avon Street and Carlos to N. 79th Street, with 66 customers effected
  • W. Broadview to Steinway Street and Jeffrey Dr. to Skyway Street, with 47 customers effected
