Over $26 million aimed at improving access to child care services across Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services is hoping to improve access to quality child care services through a new grant program.

More than $26 million will be invested into the Business and Child Care Partnership Program.

Nebraska DHHS is hosting three virtual help sessions beginning on January 9 at 6 p.m. 

The program is funded through the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act and the American Rescue Plan Act.

It will work with child care providers and businesses to help aid opportunities for growth.
