Part of Lincoln’s Salt Creek Levee Trail to close for over a week

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – City officials announced Thursday that a part of the Salt Creek Levee Trail will be closed for over a week.

Starting on Monday, the path between West South and Calvert Streets on the east side of the creek will be closed for trail grading and resurfacing.

Officials say the project is expected to be finished by March 17.

To avoid the closure, officials ask that people use the Jamaica North Trail.
