LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln drivers may see traffic delays early Thursday morning as crews work to fix a water main on North 27th Street.

City officials say the northbound lane between Fairfield and Old Dairy Streets will be closed for the emergency water main repair.

Officials expect one lane will reopen by noon on Thursday. It is not yet known when the street will fully reopen.

Officials recommend drivers take Cornhusker Highway to North 48th Street to Superior Street as a detour.

More information on closures can be found at lincoln.ne.gov/closures.
