Part of Old Cheney Road in Lincoln to close on Monday
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A part of Old Cheney Road will be closed for sidewalk construction starting on Monday, city officials say.
Old Cheney Road from First Street to Hunts Drive will be closed for the project, which is expected to be done by Tuesday.
Crews are building a sidewalk on the north side of Old Cheney Road, between the Jamaica Trail and the sidewalk east of the BNSF railway.
City officials recommend that drivers take Warlick Boulevard to 14th Street as a detour.
