Part of Old Cheney Road open after water main repairs

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — After over two weeks of closure, Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) announced that westbound Old Cheney Road is now open.

Both westbound lanes were closed after a water main break occurred on Aug. 14. The eastbound lane from The Knolls to 25th Street is still closed.

LTU said they encourage drivers to use caution through the area.
